  Definition: A polymer used as a dispersing agent (disperse solids in liquids), emulsion stabilizer (prevent separation of ingredients), opacifying agent (give pearly look), and to increase viscosity (thickness).

• How to Use

  • Apply a generous layer on cleansed, dry skin using the applicator brush provided. Leave on for 10 minutes for an instant hydration perk. Gently remove with lukewarm water and pat dry.
  • Follow in with our Splash Serum and Hydration Boost Cream daily for longer lasting moisture retention.
  • Use 2-3 times a week if you have normal skin type. Increase the frequency as suited for dehydrated and/or dry skin.
  • Pro-tip: For extra intense hydration, apply as final step in your evening skincare routine as a sleeping mask, after the usage of serums and/or moisturiser. Spread a thin layer across face and rinse off in the morning.

  • How to tell if I have dry or dehydrated skin?
    
    Dry skin is characterised by lack of oil and some telltale sign of dry sign includes peeling, itchy and flaky skin. The Intense Hydration Mask has a thickened gel-cream consistency which makes it a perfect 'second skin' and increases the effectiveness of locking the hydration beneath your outer layer skin.

A simple way to test for dehydrated skin at home is to pinch your cheeks lightly for 3 seconds, if it wrinkles with gentle pressure instead of holding its shape, you may have dehydrated skin.   • Is this suitable for oily or combination-oily skin type?
    
    Definitely! Oily skin may sometimes be your skin's way of telling you that you have dehydrated skin as it compensates the lack of hydration by over-producing oil. Due to the imbalance of water and oil content, it causes your skin to appear oily.
